As a crucial member of our team, the Scrum Master will play a pivotal role in guiding teams through Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.This position is on-site in Annapolis Junction, MD and requires Secret Clearance. Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS182, T2, Band 5 Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration and continuous improvement - Work with Cross-Functional Teams: Facilitate collaboration and communication between development, operations, and business teams to ensure alignment on project goals and seamless integration of deliverables- Remove Impediments: Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow - Coach and Mentor: Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement - Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables - Monitor Progress: Track and report on team performance metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability - Promote Agile Principles: Advocate for Agile values and principles within the organization, driving adoption and adherence to Agile methodologies- Continuous Improvement: Encourage and facilitate process improvements to enhance team efficiency and product qualityJob-Specific Minimum Requirements:- Active Secret clearance is required. - Due to contract requirements, only US Citizens can be considered.- 7+ years of experience supporting IT programs in an Agile environment, including serving as a Scrum Master and facilitating Agile delivery teams. - Candidates must reside within a commutable distance for daily onsite work and on-call requirements. - This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
