Inouye International Airport.Shift Information: Shift Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, SaturdayWEEKEND/HOLIDAYS REQUIREDStart Times:6AM12PMMail Agent Job Duties and Responsibilities:Efficiently sort, handle, load, and unload freight and mail from over-the-road equipment, containers, city trailers, and straight trucks.Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to safely load and unload freight.Handle and transport hazardous materials (HazMat) shipments in accordance with safety procedures and regulations.Ensure freight is properly sorted, secured, and prepared for transport.Communicate with Supervisor/ManagerAdhere to company rules and regulationsMail Agent Requirements and Qualifications:Must be able to obtain an Airport Operations Area (AOA) badge and Ramp LicenseMust pass a background check and drug testAble to lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to read, write, speak & understand EnglishMust have reliable transportation to get to workMust be able to pass USPS background checkPreferred Qualifications:Freight/Mail handling experienceForklift certificationHandling of Hazmat trainingExperience:Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)Hazmat: 1 year (Preferred)Dockworker, LTL Freight, Shipping/Receiving, or Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)License:Forklift (Preferred)Job Duties:Load and unload trucksMove and stack materialsGeneral housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assignedUS Aviation Services Perks & BenefitsWe value our team members and are proud to offer a competitive benefits package that includes:401(k) retirement account with company matchHealth, dental, vision, and life insurancePaid time off and holiday payUniforms providedEmployee referral programWork in a fast-paced, exciting airport environmentRecognition programs and performance incentivesUS Aviation is a drug-free environment and has a strict zero tolerance policy for harassment.
